Ok, problem: All my widgets got shifted under the Category columns. When I attempt to put them back into the right-hand sidebar, it won’t allow me to do so. And worse, won’t save any changes.
I’m working from Page Elements. Do I need to hand-code the HTML from the Template tab instead?
Please tell me how to fix this.

i think the best thing is, you should write an article on how to fully use this template. Just like to to change the Category name, the Post page some stuffs like that.

well i have found a bug in the Updated Version simple V1…
Whenever I make changes to the page elements on my sidebars by adding, deleting or miving them around, the date on the very top of the page above the blog title disappears. can you fix this? why can’t the date just be independent regardless of the changes being made to the blog? help!

It seems there are alot of tweaks to be done for perfect use of this template and it would be nice if you provide a READ ME on customizing this template especially home page as there are Flickr stream involved with Java script … It would not be an easy task for newbie bloggers…

there is problem regarding the layout.
earlier the homepage load without distortion but now there is a problem with the template due to which all the photos get overlapped.
this can be seen in demo too.
the reason for this is the bandwidth of the server where the javascript of content rotation is exhausted.
i urge the admin to post the js of this template so that we can host it at our own on free server

There is a problem with this template when I try to write a post using Internet Explorer (Firefox works great)… The window for “Write a Comment” is at the right of the page and I can’t choose the option “post comment”… Please can you help me?? (Sorry for the bad english)

Thanks for the template. I had been burning midnight oil on this template and I need some advise.
1. Right side bar – How do I get Adsense to show up of the right 2 bars? I have copied the Adsense HTML but it is not showing up.
2. SubNav bar – I did as you instructed on the earlier version, I tried to place it with Adsense bar 468 x 15 but it keeps showing 468 x 60. I have check the Adsense HTML and it is 468 x 15.

I’m also having trouble with the flash player. I’ve tried it in every browser, IE5, IE7, Mozilla…sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. And if you leave out the SRC from the two bottom pictures to just have one non-rotating image, it doesn’t work at all.
To answer the above question of how come the posts don’t come up on the templates homepage. You have to create a new widget (HTML) on your layout page. Download an IMG and a short post descript, then HREF link on the bottom. This will allow your readers to look at a small section of the post and then click onto the whole post.
Other than the flash player, it’s working great, I really love it (and I’ve gone through about thirty templates so far. If you can’t help with the flash player or I cant get it working myself, I’ll just remove the code and replace with a simple IMG and some text.
If you could answer this flash problem it would be greatly appreciated

Yeah there are some problems with this template but I think that you all can customize it with some effort of course. I spent some time and it doesn’t look that bad btw I use this template in my blog (http://newhuntingexperience.blogspot.com/).

I was trying to change the header, but the “Edit” button was hidden behind the hard coded ad. I figured I’d unlock the header (changed it from locked = True to False), went ahead and changed the Header, then tried saving it, but it wouldn’t save. Gave me an error message. I went back and changed the “Locked” back to “True”, and I can preview it, but I still get an error message if I try to save FROM the layout menu.

But in other demo (http://revchurchblogger.blogspot.com/), the slide in Running.

This is my big issue that i have been having for the past two weeks
Please firstly explain what is the problem code and then possible
resolutions.
some observations:
Basically what occurs is that if i go to my Layout and Press Save
Changes (Even without making any changes), this error occurs.
So i cant press the Save Changes button. If i add a new page element,
I just gotta leave it where it is added so it autosaves, this is my
only ‘fix’ around it. Obviously this is not ideal, cause I want to
rearrange my elements

Find this in the style for example:
.deleted-comment {
font-style: italic;
color: gray;
}
After this part just write into the style:
.comment-form { float: left;}
And it will be right in IE
